I'm alright, now. It's a little complicated, but I'll tell you all about it...

[And she proceeds to do so. Explanation and all that]

So that's why I have wings and you don't. Saori is here too, but in this mess we got separated and I don't know where she is right now.

[Kenichi listens, a frown growing on his face. He doesn't like the idea of family being trapped here, at all. And he's liking even less that they've been here so long, and hurt to boot.]

That...is quite a tale. It sounds as though you've been here for some time, too. How long, and what have you been up to? How've you passed the time without losing your minds?

Saori's been here for about a year and a half give or take, and I've been here almost seven months now. [She thinks about that for a second. The time has flown by.]

We find our own activities to do. There really isn't a dull moment between little shifts they like to drop on us every so often and spending time with friends that we've made here.

She's making mortal friends? Besides you?

[That draws a smile from the elder god, and he laughs.]

My, how you've changed her, Yuuna. Next thing you know she'll be getting married and watching television.

I think she even has more friends than you think! You meet a lot of people in a year or so. [Scratching her head, she smiles back at him...]

As a matter of fact, Kenichi...we are getting married!

[That draws a choking sound from Kenichi and he blinks.]

Seriously? I never thought I'd see the day! She's getting out and talking to mortals, and she's finally doing what I told her to do years ago.

When are you to be wed? And I suppose a trip is out of the question, but what do you have planned?

[She smiles and nods, glad to hear the approval.]

May sometime, though we haven't worked much on the wedding plans yet. We have a few friends that we know will help us, and really it won't be hard to put together. There isn't much to do so when something like this does pop up, people tend to get excited and help out the best they can.

We might need to worry about dresses soon though. I wish you could come, but, you know. [He'll have to leave soon and that sucks.]

Good. Good. I'm glad to hear it. When you get back, we'll have to have a proper ceremony under the stars. And I'll have to find some sort of present for you.

[He grins, and claps a hand on her shoulder.]

You know, I wish there was some way I could help. Is there anything I can do that'll stick with you?

Really, I don't know Kenichi. I've never seen this happen before with all these people. Anything strange that happens like this is usually fixed by the Malnosso, so if there is, I don't know if it'll work.

[This is all new to Yuuna. She's still not really sure what's going on, really.]

Well, if they can undo my niece's magic, then I doubt mine will have much sway. But here, let me see.

[He takes her by the hand and closes his eyes, sending over a bit of his courage and will. Hopefully it'll stick, and maybe make her a bit more willing to fight in the future. He can tell she's a peaceful soul, but there's still joy to be had in war.]

How does that feel?

More confident, that's for sure. [She seems to be examining whatever he did.] What exactly did you do?

I bolstered your will with my own. Your faith has never been weak, and that makes it a conduit. That's why you can feel your...hah...fiance.

Hey! You're really amused by our engagement, aren't you? [Her hands go on her hips, but she's smiling back at him.]

Amused? Yes. But happily so. It's good to see the two of you finally committing rather than just playing at partnership. After all, you're a part of my family now, and you have been since the change.

[He grins and takes a seat on the bench, sprawling back lazily.]

It's time you started acting like it. And the first step is officially joining.

Well, thank you Kenichi. I'm honored to be apart of your family. [She takes a seat next to him.] Saori was the one that proposed to me, actually. You should have seen what she did to set everything up. It was really beautiful. She completely surprised me by it too, made all these plans and managed to hide it all.

She can be like that. I think it's her human side coming through. Tesshin was never quite like that, but he could be crafty in his own way.

What did she do?

[She smiles brightly. Let her tell you, Kenichi.]

She had this beautiful dinner arranged. It was on the rooftop of our home, and she knew someone who could put some sort of barrier over it so the snow didn't fall in and freeze us. So I had a candlelit dinner on a rooftop in a makeshift snow globe, and then she proposed. It was so nice, I didn't even know what to say at first.

Well, you obviously made the right choice.

[He's positively glowing, because wow, his somewhat introverted niece (for a god) did something that nice?]

And not to change topics so suddenly, but tell me, are there any worthy foes here? I feel I should ask, even if the answer is obvious.

[She has to laugh.] Of course, always thinking about fighting, aren't you. I'll never be surprised about anything with you, Kenichi.

There's plenty here. You could probably point your finger almost anywhere and there would be a fighter there. I'm not really friends with any myself, but I know they're here.

No? [He looks cheeky] I think about other things, too. Food. Family. Dancing with lovely young women like yourself...

[Chuckling, he looks around the square and spots a child. Let's say...Yotsuba.]

Would you say she is? And...why are there children here?
