I am now! [The next hill they come to is no less a scream of a belief that she is surely going to die on this ride. She might as well be dead because she feels like she's dead. She wants to be dead.]

[Saori keeps quiet and continues patting Yuuna until they make it around the ride. Thankfully, it's fairly short, and thankfully it's the first of three. The other two they can now skip.

Climbing off the ride, she offers Yuuna a hand out of the car.]

When did this happen?

I...don't know, just now...we got to the top and I really thought I was done for. [She's calming herself, now that she's on solid ground again.] Let's not go on any more rides like that, if that's okay.

You were the one that wanted to go one it in the first place, so that's fine.

[She frowns and rubs Yuuna's back, reaching into a pocket to offer over a handkerchief.]

This is new. We've never had this problem before.

I've never been afraid of heights before. Never. Earth and Stars, you don't think...? [Did she get shifted too?]

It's...like my shift, then. We've been rock climbing before...so I know it's recent.

[She grumbles. She really likes roller coasters too and this completely ruined it for her.]

That's awful, that ruins half the fun of being here...being afraid of heights, couldn't they of picked something else? [She whines. This isn't fair. She feels fine now that she's on the ground, but now she's pretty much banned from any coasters and half the other rides there.]

Maybe it's because you teased me about my newfound aversion to pastries. But it's just a shift, give it some time and it will pass, dear.

[She leads Yuuna over to a bench and plunks her down there.]

Do you want some water or something? You look like hell, dear.

Water, yeah. I bet my breath smells awful now. [Really, she should head to the bathroom and wash her mouth out.]

[Saori produces a bottle from the folds of her clothes and hands it over.]

It's not the most pleasant, no. Go wash your mouth off. I'll wait here.

[She gladly takes it. And heads off to the nearest bathroom, rinses her mouth, and comes back.]

Thanks. Guess I won't be doing anything here. Maybe we can go somewhere else that doesn't involve five hundred feet of me losing everything I ate. [Just thinking about it is making her stomach turn.]

No, I guess not.

[Saori stands up and jerks her head over towards the exit.]

We could always try Halloween Land?

As long as the shift didn't give us more than one fear, I should be okay for Halloween Land. Let's go, just the sound of the coasters is making me nauseous.

[She gets up, to follow Saori to Halloween Land.]

Alright, that sounds good. It can't be that bad. After all, it's just a haunted house.

[Little do they know...]

Yeah, those are never as scary as they say. It's just a bunch of cheap jump scares. I'm surprised more people don't get punched more often, though I'm sure that does happen occasionally. I guess it just comes with the territory~

Then let's give it a try. It certainly can't be very high, or have much to do with pastries.

[So she heads over towards the path to Halloween Land, where they are met by a group of zombies that seem to be...cleaning.

Saori blinks...]

Yuuna, you don't think...

[Zombies. She does not like those. But, they're not...real, right?]

Uh...I hope not. [She veers away from those. She doesn't care if they're fake or not. Those are not welcome anywhere near her, at any time, at home or here. And it's obvious she doesn't want to be anywhere near them.]

[Saori maneuvers around the creatures with an irritated look, gliding off towards the giant haunted house that dominates this section of the park.]

It's probably just a robot. They do that, sometimes.

Why couldn't they of chosen a vampire instead? Or even a werewolf... [Zombies, yuck.] If they have those in the haunted house, I'll run right out, I swear I will.

I guess zombies are easier for them. They don't much in the way of care, and vampires are smart. They are immortal, after all...

[She nods in agreement there though] I'll leave with you, believe me.

[Shuddering, she moves along the pathway- with more zombies walking past, off to the side between buildings. They're positively everywhere, and it's starting to make her jump almost every time she rounds a corner.]

Okay, this isn't fun anymore. [She might be having small flashbacks to the simulation Saori showed her in the Battle Dome.] That one smelled rotten, like it was real.

[Saori's own eyes are furtive, looking around warily.]

It...doesn't look like they're doing anything. Maybe they've been Shifted?

Are you saying they are real? Do you really think they'd put real zombies in here? [A shift would be the only thing they could do to control them...]

I don't know. Maybe? If they are Shifted, then it could be the case. Either way, they aren't bothering us. So we can just avoid them, right?

I guess. [She still doesn't like the idea of them being absolutely everywhere.] Let's just hurry to the haunted house, okay? I don't want to be out here any longer than I have to.
