[Well, after the awkward mixup on the love boat ride...Saori had been extra attentive to her partner, letting Yuuna lead her around by the nose. In some cases literally, so long as they avoided any place serving funnel cakes.

Which eventually takes them Thrill Land, an amusement part not all that dissimilar from their disastrous attempts to visit theme parks back home. Only this time the Malnosso have done them a favor and suppressed the magical energy inherent in Saori's body...which means that she can actually go on rides!

They're probably stuck in line for a ferris wheel or a roller coaster of some sort, but Saori's lost track...this is Yuuna's show after all.]

So...is this something you enjoy? Or are we just taking the opportunity?

Yes, this is really fun! I know you've never been able to go on a roller coaster before, but I guarantee you'll love it. Though maybe for your first time, you should keep your hands on the safety bar.

[She says that as a group of cars go whizzing by, the occupants having their hands up in the air.]

Why? Is it supposed to be sca...[She trails off as she sees the cars zip by]...ry?

People find that fun?!

Sure! It's a lot more fun to actually go on the ride than it is to watch. Watching it can be a little intimidating, but it's really not as scary as you think.

[Trust her!]

If...you're sure. Is it really safe?

[She goggles as she notices a loop]

And upside down like that?!

It really is safe, I promise. The cars are attached to the track, and the speed alone would keep it on the track anyway. Physics, Saori, silly! [She taps her lover's nose. Her confusion was cute.]

[Saori wrinkles her nose.]

Sounds like a lot of science to me. But what's to keep us from falling out?

There's safety bars in each of the cars. Don't worry, they wouldn't let us on if they didn't know it was safe. I wish they'd find a way to make these lines shorter though, two hours is an awful wait time.

...this place is called Malnosso World. It could very well be a setup.

[Paranoid much?]

And yes, the lines. Ugh. So many people...and so many...funnel cakes.

[She turns a bit green as a young Kin'corran wanders by munching on one.]

Try not to look outside the line, honey. You'll see a lot more where that came from, and you might throw up all over me or the person in front of you if you're not careful. [She playfully places a hand over Saori's eyes.]

[Ugh...]

They're so...yeasty...it's just disturbing.

Try not to think about it! Look back at the rollercoaster, okay? [She will do everything in her power to keep Saori from losing her lunch all over someone in line. She really got a strange fear...]

We'll be to the front of the line before you know it. And the farther up we are, the less likely you'll see a funnel cake walk by.

[She does, and her eyes go up and up.]

How on earth do we get all the way up there?

This line will lead to a ramp up. Maybe several sets of stairs, depending how they decided to construct it. You're not scared, are you?

[Just teasing, but she's genuinely curious too.]

...Of course not!

[That reply came a bit too quickly. Of course she is. It's a machine, and she can't fly away from it.]

Oh, come on Saori, it's not that bad at all. If you don't like this one we'll never do it again, the rest of the week, promise.

[Yes, that quick response was noted and identified.]

[Caught! She sighs]

A-alright. We'll see how it goes. But if I die here, I'm making you pamper me until my penalty goes away.

Saori, you're not going to die. [She nudges her playfully, laughing lightly at the idea that she really thought there was a chance of dying at all.]

You'll see, you might like it a lot more than you expect. [And the line crawls on, slowly, until they almost reach the top.]

[Well, the laugh does a lot to steady her, and she remains quiet till they're about to reach the entrance.]

...not long now.

Nope! [Yuuna hasn't really bothered to look back, just looks up, getting more and more excited.

Until finally, they're at the front of the line!]

Ah, we're next! It's about time, we've been waiting for two hours at least...

Well that's what people seem to enjoy doing at this park. It's very busy. And there are lots of people from other enclosures here.

[She says this with just a hint of disdain.]

Yeah, the lines aren't really enjoyable, but the ride is worth it. [And that's when they get led to the edge, to get into the carts...but Yuuna got a glance right before they got there to get an idea of how high up they were.]

A-a-actually....um....

[Saori remains quiet, hands on the safety bar and her knuckles completely white.]

...yes...?

[Now, she wishes they weren't already in the cars.]

You know, maybe...maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all.

B-but you said it'd be fun...?

[There's a hint of confusion in her voice as the ride begins to climb the first hill.]
