Why, hello Luceti! For those of you who don't know me, I'm Yuuna, Yuuna Sugasawa. I'm planning on a little trip with a friend, so I wanted to ask what you guys like to do when you go out camping or hiking? We've got a couple ideas, but I'm looking to see if anyone else had good suggestions. We'll be going out for a few days, and seeing the sights- oh, and if any of you have any advice while we're out, I'd love to hear it. Thanks!

[Yuuna's going to be in and out of the clothing shop, getting boots and other hiking things she'll need, the grocery store picking up some food, stopping by the convenience store to get any other miscellaneous items, and finally back to House 44 where she'll be cooking, packing, and playing with Keiko, the shiba inu/pug mix who is as they say, a stately old maid.]

Well, we're going up in the mountains I think so taking any animals is out of the question. But if I could, I would! [Maybe that can be the next activity they do...]

I've done a little bit of horseback riding, but other than that I haven't ridden any other animals. I'd like to ride a camel though. Why, do you have a lot of experience with riding?

I do have lots of experience! I mean, I've never ridden any kind of camel - not even a camelephant or a polar camel. But I do remember riding horses, and I've also ridden giant koi and the hog-monkeys!

Still... What if I could send an animal to keep you and your friend company in the mountains?

[She opens her mouth to speak, and well, first questions first-]

A camelephant? I don't think I've heard of any of those before... [She is so dumbfounded by any of those he just named off.] And I suppose if you want to, but it depends...what animal were you thinking about?

Oh, well lots of worlds have different animals. And the animal I have in mind? [He droops through the window he's been sitting in front of so that he's danging upside down with his legs wrapped around the window sill, the journal's feed being held to face Appa, who is lazing about in the grass nearby.] My sky bison, Appa! Say hi, Appa! [Appa gives a growl.] He's very friendly and he can fly and it's not hard to get used to. I'm sure you can give him a try sometime!

[OH WOW is her face right now. THAT IS SO COOL.]

He'd really let me ride him?! [HE'S A CUTIE TOO.] I'd love that! Where'd you get him? [Supernatural creatures aren't a shocker to her so she is all for this.]

At the Southern Air Temple! I'll be glad to let you ride him, and I'm sure he will be, too! He always likes making new friends. Just fair warning - he likes to lick!

I think I can handle a friendly sky bison! [Awwwwwww yisssssss score] What does he eat, by the way?

All kinds of things! Well, mostly fruits and vegetables. He really loves cabbages and apples... and hay!

He sounds like a horse, hahaha! He looks like he'd eat you out of hose and home! [Appa is a big boy, after all.]

He smells like one, too! But don't worry. He can take care of himself food-wise most of the time.

Gosh, that's good. I can't imagine what your grocery bill at home would've looked like.

It's not so bad! He's really good at finding food for free from nature. But it did make it harder to find food for ourselves. Luckily, it's a lot easier in this world!

Oh? Did you end up traveling a lot? I've never had to live off the land personally, so I'd imagine it's not easy all the time. [They always bring a ton of food with them after all.]

I've traveled for most of my life. First with my people, and then with my friends. [First as part of his culture, and then because he was caught in the middle of a war.] It isn't easy all the time - but it's not as hard as it seems, either. It's the natural way to live, after all. With nature.

I wouldn't know much about that. The closest I ever got to that is harvesting rice when I was a kid. Which wasn't so bad, I mean, but other than that I've always lived in a metropolitan area since I moved out.

Do you miss it? You know, being able to go out and see the world? It's not like this place really lets you do much anyway, so I can see after a while people getting a little...bored.

I definitely do. [He nods soberly.] I miss it a lot and Appa does, too. I'm so used to traveling around and always seeing new sights. But... at least I have my friends here. So... I can't stay bored, or unhappy. Not when they're here.

[Friends. Yeah, that's true. The concept rings with her even as he begins to talk about it.]

You've got a good point. I'm pretty happy too that Saori is here, if she hadn't I'd be a lot more lonely. Making friends is fun, but at the same time having those from home makes this a little more bearable.

That's right. But... Hey! You know Saori?

I do! She's my...companion of sorts. We're from the same world, so I already had a friend when I arrived. [Nevermind she arrived right in Saori's bed.]

I guess you do too if you're asking! How did the two of you meet?

I'm really glad to hear that! Having a friend around from your own world can be really helpful, and I'm happy that Saori has someone.

As for how we met? Luceti made it so I walked into her house through her ceiling. It was an interesting time!

Woah. You walked through the ceiling? [She might not be interpreting that exactly the way Aang means it.]

K-kind of. It was because a shift was making doors go anywhere...

That sounds like it's straight out of Alice in Wonderland. [Or Harry Potter.]

What? Oh no, it's a children's story from my world. [No need to mention that it's actually a rather dark story...]

This little girl end up in this fantastic world with a talking rabbit and a nutty man who loves his tea and an evil queen. [She laughs.] It's a strange story, Aang.
