Why, hello Luceti! For those of you who don't know me, I'm Yuuna, Yuuna Sugasawa. I'm planning on a little trip with a friend, so I wanted to ask what you guys like to do when you go out camping or hiking? We've got a couple ideas, but I'm looking to see if anyone else had good suggestions. We'll be going out for a few days, and seeing the sights- oh, and if any of you have any advice while we're out, I'd love to hear it. Thanks!

There are hot springs up in the mountains, I've heard. Perhaps you could slowly make your way there.

Oh, I heard of those. I really want to go visit, since I haven't been to a hot spring in a while. [Teleporters are for losers anyway.] Is it nice up there?

I have heard so, though I couldn't tell you for sure. I've yet to visit myself. [Though now she thinks about it, once she's stronger that would be an interesting trip to make.] Have you been camping before, Yuuna?

[She should go with them next time then.]

I have. Saori and I actually made a trip out to the mountains once back at home to visit her uncle. [She laughs at the memory.] That was an interesting time. Her uncle is really something else!

[Sounds like a plan.]

You've been together a long time, it seems.

Over thirty years, I think now. Makie, do you have anyone back at home? [She's so nice, Yuuna finds it hard to believe she doesn't have a boyfriend.]

[The question actually takes her by surprise. And then she's not sure for a moment what to answer.]

[Hey, that's a good thing, though she's not totally sure how to take it with the way she phrased it. Though she's getting the feeling that Makie is not with said man.]

Ah...if that's something you'd rather not talk about, I'd understand.

No, I don't mind. It's just not a love that is returned, that's all. At least...not in the way I truly desire.

[Sounds like she totally got friendzoned. Man, that's the worst too.]

Hey, you never know, maybe he'll come around one day and see that what he's got right in front of him is amazing. [Meaning Makie of course!]

[She'll never see him again. But it's nice to think about.]

Sure he will. Don't get down on yourself about it. Sometimes men don't get it through their heads right away, but give it time. [It's hopeful words, but you never know.]

[It's a soft mutter, and then she realises she spoke out loud. Makie wonders how to explain without giving the whole truth.]

I left him. Where I'm travelling, he won't... be able to find me. So I suppose it's better now if he moves on.

[That makes her go silent, realizing that maybe she'd struck the wrong chord.]

Mm. [She shakes her head.] You can't be faulted for what you don't know, Yuuna. I don't mind the question. It's just hard to answer.

But I suppose the best way is to say...I'm content to love him from afar.

I understand. [She's never had to feel that before, so she can't imagine how hard that might be on Makie. It's sad, but...]

She's going to kill herself when she goes home. It's a foregone conclusion, Makie thinks-- the only thing she could think of, back then, that addressed the stain on her family's honour. Even if she doesn't, tuberculosis will kill her in the end.

Really, who she loves is a closed issue. But.]

I am content, I think. I can... have a life here, instead. Perhaps I will find someone.

I think you will, if you want. [Find someone that is.] There's a lot of cute and nice boys around here, though a lot of them are a little too young.

Many do seem quite young. It seems Luceti favours them. But there are a few men my own age here.

[Not interested in a single one, but they're at least nice men to talk to.]

Yeah, I've noticed, trust me. [She laughs quietly and thoughtfully.] I think I've seen three men over the age of thirty around here. Maybe four. You'd think I'd know considering how few of them there are.

[She thinks of the ones she's seen. Jade. Tony Stark. Steve. Alexei, but he's gone home, it seems. Helios, perhaps.

...Mr Brooks is probably at least in his twenties. She's having trouble thinking of any others. But none of them are interesting to her, though Jade does remind her a little of Anotsu.]

I think my count is also at four. It's almost like they are rare creatures.
